Our Process

A lot of people ask: "How the hell do you make a hat?"

Good question. There's a slow and rewarding process behind every hat we make to order. What begins as a raw felt body is steamed, stretched, and molded on a traditional wooden block before being trimmed, burnt, stitched, and, finally, shaped.

And now we have a video to show you exactly how it's done. Thanks to Stevie Chris for filming this little piece and to the ever-talented Ben Collier for the sweet tunes.

Introducing The Seeker with Feltraiger

We teamed up with extremely awesome folks at Feltraiger in Brooklyn to design an exclusive hat primed for any and all adventures. CHECK IT:

The Seeker comes in a sweet canyon color and features a leather lace headband accented with beads and feathers totally unique to each hat. A bad ass handsewn panther patch on the crown tops off the look.

Tradlands + Whisler Civilian

We were fortunate enough to collaborate with Minneapolis-based photographer Lydia Toll on her latest shoot for radical women's brand Tradlands. If you haven't heard of Tradlands, you will soon. They make AMAZING button-ups -- blouses, work shirts, shirt dresses, you name it -- with a decidedly tomboy chic with a subtle femininity that is frankly lacking from other women's labels.

Seriously, we're in love. And nothing pairs quite so well with a Tradlands shirt than a Whisler Civilian hat.

Just take a look:

Yeah, I'd say that's a match made in heaven.
